The South Carolina Agritourism Association’s Passport program for farms continues in 2019. Visit the participating farms and collect stamps to win Certified South Carolina items! To get started, pick up your booklet at any of the farms listed on! Here are a few that are nearby:

Fox Trot Farm

Visitors go on guided tours – see sheep raised for meat, pet a pig and see dairy goats. Feed chickens, pick out eggs, learn about predators & more. Sells raw honey, lamb, soap and country crafts.  They raise Dorper/Katahdin cross sheep on our farm. They are a breed of meat sheep known as “hair sheep” due to their ability to shed their coats in the spring and summer. Their meat is lean, mild, and tender. They currently maintain a breeding flock of an average of 30 or so ewes and three rams.  Once lambing is underway, the flock numbers grow exponentially…each ewe usually gives birth to twins or triplets. Lambs are processed when they are 80-130 pounds and less than a year old. Ewe lambs are often kept here on the farm to enrich our flock . More here.

Black’s Peaches

Family owned, with a certified SC Roadside Market. Black’s Peaches has been a family-owned business since 1923. Established by his great-grandfather, Arthur Lindsay Black, Arthur Q. Black has kept the family farm growing himself since 1972. Come out in July for you peaches and blackberries. More here.

Chickens, eggs, beef cows, goats and goat yoga! Family owned and operated. They sell pasture-raised poultry. Antibiotic and hormone-free, our chickens are moved to fresh grass daily and have plenty of fresh air and sunshine! More here.

Specializes in beautiful hand-crafted pottery with a large selection of bowls, mugs, cups and more. They invite you to come visit their studio. They offer a large selection of Bowls, mugs, cups, plates, platters, religious items, and special pieces, all made in many different sizes and shapes. Pottery classes are also available. Strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, vegetables are available in season from our organic garden and greenhouse. Their visitors have a year round experience. More here.

Produces lamb, pork, chicken, duck and more – raised naturally on pesticide/herbicide-free pastures. Registered Barbados Blackbelly Sheep and Heritage Breek pork, including the curly-haired Mangalitsa. They have a store on the farm with their products and carry Happy Cow Creamery’s butter and cheese and other locally produced and natural products.
