Looking for a new church home? One that’s in tune with technology and using it to help bring people closer to God? Along with many other programs, this historic church has an impressive library, offering an extensive selection in the form of eBooks, audio books and for Kindle. Get yourself a Shandon UMC library card, and you’ll find much of the library is yours online. Children’s eBooks like “Everything Happens For A Reason” are tools to cope with life’s hurdles, or for pure entertainment check out “The Chronicles of Narnia”. Audio books like “A Wrinkle in Time” or “Miracles” let you pass your time in traffic, listening and learning and loving God.

The Patsy McIntosh Library is a great spot for you and your family to get away from the hubbub and relax for a while, learning and feeling how God can speak to you through books, DVD’s and music. It’s quiet and a place to spend a little devotional time. Books, religious magazines, videos and CD’s are offered. If you’re looking to be inspired, this library holds many keys to spirituality and lessons of life. Bring your kids… there is a coloring table, window seats, books, videos and music just for them! Let them watch videos at the DVD station.

The library is just one of the many benefits of belonging to the Shandon United Methodist Church family.
