Musical Feast Reimagined

March 20, 2019

April 13, 2019 | 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM

Koger Center for the Arts

Over the past 27 years, the Friends of the School of Music have raised more than three-quarters of a million dollars for scholarship support for students of the School of Music.

The Musical Feast has been a staple each year to raise those funds. This year they are re-imagining the Feast by holding it at the Koger Center for the Arts and having a true movable musical feast in place of a seated dinner, as in years past.

Guests can stroll through six different spaces within the Koger Center and experience a different musical performance in each space, performed by School of Music students, all while enjoying delicious food and drink. And there will be something for everyone as the students will be performing a wide range of music.

For instance, on the first floor guests can enjoy a performance from Carolina Alive, or a performance from one of their Jazz combos or sit on the main stage of the Koger for selections from the Scholarship recipients.

The second floor will feature a String Quartet and performances from Opera at USC. And in the main rehearsal hall, guests can feel the beat with performances from the Percussion Ensemble.

It will be an unforgettable evening with proceeds going to fund scholarships for our students.  These scholarships make an incredible impact on our students’ academic lives and help them achieve their dreams of making a difference in the world through music.

What a great event for such a worthy cause. See ticket info below.
