11 & 14| Firefly Festival

A celebration of nature as the fireflies of Congaree National Park play host! Their synchronous flashing is so unique – it happens only 2 other places in all of North America. This year, the park is limiting attendance using a lottery system, as is done at other popular national parks. Visit them online for details.

CANCELED Swan Lake & Iris Gardens in Sumter hosts this annual festival that draws tens of thousands. Live entertainment. Over 200 vendors sell handmade arts and crafts, irises, foods and specialty items inside the gorgeous gardens.

23| Mother Daughter Paint & Tea

28| Ruth’s Chris Special Wine Dinner

A Napa Valley icon, Grgich Hills Estate is committed to natural winegrowing and sustainability while creating balanced, elegant wines. Gather around Ruth’s table for this special dinner and learn about one of our nation’s most storied winemakers, Miljenko “Mike” Grgich, who is credited with crafting the 1973 Chateau Montelena Chardonnay that won the 1976 Paris Tasting before starting his own winery in 1977.
