July 3 | Star Spangled Symphonic Salute

Celebrate Independence Day with a patriotic concert featuring a brass quintet made of members of the SC Philharmonic. Some of the songs selected include Washington Post, America the Beautiful, Liberty Bell, Star Spangled Banner, Little Brown Jug, Songs of the Armed Forces, Take me Out, and more!  Bring a picnic blanket or chair. Dupre’s Food Truck will be selling food. Beverages, beer and wine will be available for purchase. July 3 | Town of Lexington Independence Day Celebration with Fireworks

The fireworks begin in the Town of Lexington, SC at 9:15 on Friday July 3! Fireworks will be fired from behind Town Hall on South Church St. and can be viewed from Main St. Areas of viewing include Main St restaurants, Lexington Square Park, Lexington Veterans Monument, and any public parking lot in the Downtown Area. July 4 | 32nd Annual Lake Murray Fourth of July Firework Show

Lake Murray’s 32nd Annual Fireworks Show: It’s that time again! One of the best place to view these colorful displays are from the waters of Lake Murray! Fireworks will launch from Spence and Dreher Islands, best viewable by boat or from Dreher Island State Park. You can also listen to WCOS 97.5 to hear the synchronized music show! The Lexington Parking site at the Lake Murray Dam is not open, and Dreher Island State Park will be capping park visitors once the safety maximum is reached. So get there early or come by boat! Fireworks start at about 9:15pm.

July 4 | Benford Brewing Hosts Fireworks

Benford Brewing in Lancaster is offering a fun night full of music, food trucks, and of course fireworks! Tickets are $10 a person (12 years old and younger get in free). Buy tickets here. The fireworks show is licensed and insured.

 July 4 | Old Rock Quarry Winery

Grab a glass of wine and cheer and celebrate at Old Rock Quarry Winery Saturday afternoon from 2pm – 5pm! Come out for original music by Brooks Herring, munch on delectables from Roll-In Cuban Food Truck, and sip flavorful wines from the winery. Don’t forget to bring lawn chairs!

July 4 & 5 | First Baptist Church

The 33rd Annual Carolina Celebration of Liberty will not be in person this year – instead First Baptist Church will be producing a special edition that will be broadcast and LIVE streamed during the 4th of July weekend. Broadcasted on SCETV & SC Channel on July 4 at 7pm and Live Streamed on the First Baptist website and Facebook on July 5 at 8pm. More here.
