1| Chamber Singers of The Charlotte Master Chorale

Choral Transcendence  features great works of the choral canon, both from the past as well as the present. Among them, Maurice Duruflé’s poplar and enduring Four Motets. The Four Motets, written just before the final version of the composer’s Requiem, are dedicated to Auguste Le Guennant, the director of the Gregorian Institute in Paris at the time. Each is based on a different Gregorian chant tune. Lancaster Cultural Arts Center

1| SC Jazz Masterworks Ensemble

With 18 amazing musicians, the musical possibilities are almost unlimited. The SC Jazz Masterworks Ensemble comprises eighteen of the finest jazz musicians, soloists, and bandleaders from across the Carolinas and their mission is to present jazz concerts at the highest artistic level. The ensemble will be performing big band classics, music from the great American song book and modern originals by the group’s members. Harbison Theatre

6 & 13| Daddy Daughter Date Night

Young ladies and their dads or grandfathers can enjoy this special date night together. The evening includes a candlelight dinner followed by lots of dancing. Enjoy a memory photo and a goody bag. 9| Lexington Chili Cookoff

Join the Old Mill BrewPub and the Lexington County Blowfish for the 2020 Lexington County Chili Cookoff! On Sunday, February 9th come out to the Icehouse Amphitheater and enjoy over chili from over 20 different cooks! 11| Riverbanks FrogWatch Volunteer Training

FrogWatch USA is a citizen science program organized by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums that provides individuals, groups, and families opportunities to learn about wetlands in their communities by reporting on the calls of local frogs and toads. Volunteers are the foundation of the FrogWatch USA community. These trained individuals listen for frogs and toads during the evenings from February through August and then submit their observations to a national online database. 15 – May 17| It’s Alive! Classic Horror and Sci-Fi Art

Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett has put together one of the world’s most comprehensive collections of horror and sci-fi art. It’s Alive features more than 100 pieces including posters, toys, guitars, masks, and sculptures, many hailing back to the days of Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi.
