Saluda Shoals Park

Arguably the finest park in the Greater Columbia area, Saluda Shoals offers something for everyone. Saluda Shoals Park is a premier, natural, environmentally sensitive riverfront park that invites visitors to experience the treasures of the Saluda River through exceptional educational, recreational and cultural opportunities. Located along the banks of the beautiful Saluda River, this 400 acre regional park offers amazing amenities!

May and June means summer hath come, and we know you’ll be itchin’ to go go outside. So, when you want to enjoy the outdoors, visit Saluda Shoals Park in the St. Andrews – Irmo area.

Barking Lot

A two-acre fenced, off-leash area for dogs to run and play. Owners of well-mannered canines who enjoy a good romp can have access to a fenced, off-leash area for their pets. The Barking Lot features three small, bone shaped pools for dogs to cool off in during these hot summer months, and a gazebo for owners to relax in. More here.

Saluda Splash

Saluda Splash is a zero-depth water spray ground for children. Hours of operation are from 9am-8pm daily Monday through Sunday. Wristbands are $3 per person or you can purchase a 15-visit Splash Pass for $40. The Splash Pass is valid at both Saluda Splash and Melvin Park Splash in Chapin. A $5 daily parking fee applies at Saluda Shoals Park

X-Plorer Packs

Looking to get out and explore nature on your own? the X-Plorer Packs give you the opportunity to do just that! These packs include field guides, a magnifying glass, binoculars and seasonal nature activities, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Renters must have an ID to borrow the packs.
