Frank Martin Basketball Camps
Starts June 7
Gives campers an opportunity to improve their game in a fun environment. Camps focus on executing the proper fundamentals, sportsmanship, developing team spirit, and self-esteem.

Dawn Staley Basketball Camp
June 9-12 / June 24-27
This camp is designed to develop and teach basketball skills. The camp will emphasize fundamental basketball and overall player development. Daily instruction and stations will focus on dribbling, ball-handling, shooting, rebounding and defensive techniques. Campers will compete on teams in order to apply their individual skills to the team concept. The camp is open to any and all rising 6th – 12th grade girls. Campers will need to bring a bagged lunch each day.

Richland One Language Immersion Program

Enrolling for 2019-2020
Are you interested in your child receiving a bilingual education? In the Richland One Language Immersion program at Carver-Lyon Elementary, students are immersed in a Spanish or Mandarin Chinese learning environment for approximately half of their instructional time.Language immersion students learn through an innovative, standards-based curriculum that fosters their development through dual language into self-confident learners and global citizens.The Richland One Language Immersion program is now enrolling students from Prekindergarten through first-grade. The Language Immersion Program is open to students throughout Richland One and bus transportation is provided.
In addition to Language Immersion, all students will be a part of the school-wide Leader in Me Magnet program. The Leader in Me process will help teachers unleash each child’s full potential as a well-rounded global citizen. Students at Carver-Lyon will use Stephen Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, to learn and practice integrity, initiative, work ethic, cooperation, confidence, and service to the community.
