Where do the apples grow best in South Carolina? Where it’s nice and cool in the spring and very cold in the winter! That’s Westminster, SC, friends! Home to apple orchards like Brysons Orchard Farm, Gnat Hill Orchard Farm, Chattooga Belle Farm, Hollifield’s Orchard and more! The perfect town to host an apple festival! This festival makes a great destination for a day trip from the Columbia area – Westminster is about 150 miles northwest of Columbia.
Tuesday September 3 :: 9am Rotary Golf Tournament / Register at 11am. Shotgun start at noon at Oconee Country Club. Oconee Country Club is a semi-private golf club that was built in 1948 on an old farmstead just outside the city limits of Seneca, S.C. It is a relatively short course by today’s modern standards, but it provides the golfer with plenty of challenge off the tee and approach shots to its small, undulating greens.
