Richland One Offers New Career Magnet Programs
From kindergarten through 12th grade, Richland One is on the fast track to preparing its students for careers in well-paying, in-demand jobs in engineering, tourism, government and entrepreneurship.
Thanks to a $15 million federal magnet schools grant, the district now offers career readiness programs at the elementary, middle and high school levels. Whether it’s learning a new language, exploring career fields or participating in “The Leader in Me” program, the Richland One Leadership Magnet sparks the imagination of students and prepares them to become leaders in a global society.
The programs, which will be based at Bradley Elementary, W.G. Sanders Middle and W.J. Keenan High schools, are open to all Richland One students. Parents can start enrolling their children now. Bus transportation will be provided to all students enrolled in the programs.
